Playing fair under the Christmas tree

Christmas is coming! You may be starting to dream of new toys and, if you're lucky, you may well get some.

But have you noticed how some toys seem to be sold as if they're really just for girls, or just for boys? Have you wondered why?

We've been talking to Céline Petrovic, an expert who explains how playing different games and with different toys can create differences between boys and girls that don't need to be there. Playing with dolls can make girls better at looking after people. Doing more building toys can help boys be better at mechanical work.
